WE NEED YOUR HELP!!
The Arkansas High School Coaches' Association/AAA All-Star Week will be held on the UCA campus June 19-22 (the week BEFORE NATA). We are in need of some ATs to volunteer!! We need a minimum of 9 certified ATs and would love to have some students help as well. We report on Wednesday, June 19, and cover daily practices and evening events through Saturday. The game schedule will be baseball and softball on Thursday, men's and women's soccer and volleyball on Friday, and basketball, football, and spirit groups on Saturday. Stay 1 day, 2 days, or the whole week if you can...you are not required to stay the whole week unless you are working basketball or football.
You will receive mileage reimbursement and a gift from the AAA, a gift from the All-Star Committee, t-shirts and polos for the week, and recognition as an All-Star Athletic Trainer. You may stay in the dorm or commute in each day. You may eat free in the cafeteria. This is very, very laid back...we always have a great time and it is a great way to show the value of Athletic Trainers to some of these coaches from schools who do not have access to us. Program Directors...this is a great opportunity for your students to network with AT professionals and coaches!
The press conference is May 21 around 10:00 a.m. at Bear Hall on the UCA Campus. We also need to place an order for shirts soon, so if you can work, please contact Christa Finney or Zach Hoyt at zhoyt_04@hotmailcom ASAP!!!!!
