Randy Harriman, MS, LAT, ATC is the Director of Sports Medicine at White County Medical Center.  He grew up in Fort Smith, Arkansas, where Randy participated in football and track at Northside High School, graduating in 1981.  He attended Harding University in Searcy from 1981 to 1983, where he participated in intercollegiate football and track.  Transferred to Abilene Christian University in Abilene, Texas in the fall of 1983 to begin the Athletic Training Program.  Graduate in 1986 from ACU with a B.S. in physical education and was hired as the head athletic trainer that same year.  Received B.S. Ed in Health Ed. In 1987. Received M.S. in Sports Medicine from the United States Sports Academy in 1989.  In 1990, he moved to Little Rock to work for Ken Martin at Martin Knee and Sports Medicine.  In 1995, came to Searcy to work for White County Medical Center as Sports Medicine Director.  Randy has been there eleven years. 

During Randy’s membership in the AATA, Randy has served a total of eight years as Vice-President, President and Past President.  Also serving as Chairman of the Legislative Committee four years during that same time. 

Randy also served on the CIC Committee as the AATA Representative to SWATA for four years and is currently serving on the State Board of Athletic Training for the State of Arkansas.  In Searcy, Randy has served on the Searcy Youth Soccer Association Board and is currently serving on the Board of Searcy Baseball, Inc.  Randy is also the Park Manager for Searcy Baseball, Inc.  He has coached his sons in baseball, soccer and basketball for the last eleven years.

Randy has been married to Amy, who teaches at Harding Academy, for twenty-three years and they have raised three sons, Joshua 18, Jordan 17 and Jared 15.
