All Star Committee

Mission Statement:

It is the mission of the AAA All Star Committee to provide athletic training coverage for all games, practices, and events of the all star games according to the Arkansas State Board of Athletic Training Rules and Regulations. Certified athletic trainers and student athletic trainers we strive to provide the highest quality of care for all the athletes involved with the all star events.  We are to work in conjunction with the Arkansas Activities and Coaches Association to promote athletic training within the state. 

Members of the All Star Committee should ideally possess the following traits:

  1. Expertise: They have the knowledge and skills necessary to evaluate and treat sports-related injuries, including the ability to recognize signs and symptoms of common injuries.

  2. Compassion: They are compassionate towards athletes, providing emotional support as well as physical care.

  3. Flexibility: They are flexible and adaptable, able to respond to the needs of athletes and adjust their treatment plans as necessary.

  4. Communication: They have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and are able to effectively communicate with athletes, coaches, and other medical professionals.

  5. Attention to detail: They pay close attention to detail, ensuring that all injuries are thoroughly evaluated and treated, and that athletes are able to return to play safely.

  6. Time management: They are able to manage their time effectively, ensuring that they are available to provide medical care during practices and games.

  7. Problem-solving: They are able to quickly identify and solve problems related to sports injuries, such as finding alternative treatment options or adapting treatment plans to meet the needs of individual athletes.

  8. Patience: They are patient with athletes, taking the time to explain injuries and treatments and providing ongoing support throughout the healing process.

  9. Team player: They work well as part of a team, collaborating with coaches, other medical professionals, and volunteers to ensure that athletes receive the best possible care.

  10. Commitment: They are committed to the health and well-being of athletes and are willing to volunteer their time and expertise to ensure that they can perform at their best during the all-star event.
