Heat Stroke Awareness Month

As part of Heat Stroke Awareness Month, the Arkansas Athletic Trainers' Association (AATA), Arkansas Activities Association, and the Kendrick Fincher Hydration for Life Foundation (KFHL) are joining forces to protect our student athletes from heat-related injuries. Here are some simple but impactful social media tips to support our mission and raise awareness throughout August:

  3. Educational Posts: Share informative graphics, stats, and tips about heat-related injuries and how to prevent them. Encourage your followers to stay informed and vigilant.

  4. Personal Stories: Share personal anecdotes or experiences related to heat safety. These stories can have a powerful impact and motivate others to take action.

  5. Engage Your Audience: Ask questions, host polls, or create quizzes related to heat safety. Engage your followers to generate meaningful conversations.
