Head Athletic Trainer-University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff

Manages a Division I Athletics Training Program and implements standard operating procedures; ensures appropriate documentation of injuries; provides oversight of practices and game coverages, as well as traveling for away sporting events; responsible for student-athlete insurance claims.

Assistant Athletic Trainer-University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff

As an Athletics Trainer one must have knowledge of a large range of medical problems in order to assess, evaluate, and potentially refer student-athletes to other healthcare professionals. Tasks such as these also require critical and independent decision-making skills. This position requires a certain level of attention to detail along with effective communication skills in order to handle high stress situations. Just as importantly this job requires the ability to organize, prioritize, and perform multiple tasks with little or no supervision. This position will work primarily with football (sports specific).

Assistant Athletic Trainer-University of Arkansas at Fort Smith

The assistant athletic trainer is responsible for assisting the Director of Sports Medicine to provide primary medical care to student athletes participating in the university sports programs. The assistant athletic trainer reports to the Director of Sports Medicine.

Clinical Education Coordinator-Arkansas State MSAT program

The Master of Athletic Training (MAT) Program at Arkansas State University (A-State) invites applications for the position of Clinical Education Coordinator (CEC), a full-time, 9-month non-tenure-track position. The MAT Program is housed within the College of Nursing and Health Professions (CNHP), and interacts closely with several other CNHP disciplines such as physical therapy, occupational therapy, nursing, and others. We seek a leader with strong communication and diplomacy skills as well as a commitment to high-quality interprofessional education.

Athletic Trainer-Prairie Grove High School

The athletic trainer will practice said profession within the parameters of the Arkansas Athletic Training Practice Act and follow both the Standards of Practice and Code of Ethics as set forth by the National Athletic Trainers Association. These duties are based on the needs of the school and its athletic programs. The athletic trainer’s duties, enumerated in this document, should not be considered all inclusive.  The Athletic Director, as necessary, shall modify duties.  The athletic trainer will be present at home athletic events and practices  and shall attend other post-season and home-hosted contests as directed by the Athletic Director. 

Assistant Athletic Trainer-Lyon College

The Athletic Trainer provides a full range of professional athletic training functions for intercollegiate athletic teams and club sport programs. He/she provides education and training in order to prevent athletic injuries; recognizes, evaluates, and provides immediate care of athletic injuries; assists in the rehabilitation and reconditioning of athletes after injuries occur; serves as a liaison between physicians, coaches, athletes and parents; ensures athletes participate only when physically able. This position is responsible for the day to day operation of the training room and will assist the Head Athletic Trainer with the long-term planning and development of the athletic training program.

Arkansas Children’s-Fayetteville High School

Responsible to recognize, evaluate, treat and rehabilitate participating athletes who have suffered a sports injury or illness as well as provide injury prevention education to those athletes. Responsibilities include coverage of athletic team events and additional special events as assigned. Serves as the primary liaison between the assigned school, the parent/athlete, and appropriate healthcare providers. Responsible for other duties at ACH as assigned.

Athletic Trainer-University of Central Arkansas

The University of Central Arkansas (UCA) invites applications for a full time 12-month Athletic Trainer position through the athletic
department. The university is committed to creating a culture that embraces diversity, belonging, inclusion, and equity. Successful candidate(s) will provide medical coverage to Division I student-athletes. Medical coverage assignment will be with women soccer and softball. Summer assignments as assigned by the head athletic trainer.

Athletic Trainer/Instructor-El Dorado High School

Assist with the health care coverage for all athletic teams. Assist with and maintain medical records for all athletes, including athlete medical and insurance records, policies and procedures, etc. Assist with and/or provide evaluation and rehabilitation of athletic injuries. Assist with supervision and/or maintain athletic training supplies and equipment inventory and ordering. Team travel as needed to provide appropriate medical coverage. Team travel to all Football games. Team travel in post season when it does not conflict with other home events. Assist with appropriate medical coverage for all home events. Assist with input on strength training for all sports. Assist with athletic training students.  Actively recruit athletic training students.  Assist with teaching required courses for athletic student trainers.  Assist with supervision of Athletic Training Students in both clinical settings as well as field practical settings. Other duties as assigned by the Head Athletic Trainer or Athletic Director.
